Unearth a story 600 million years in the m aking! Participants will take a deep dive into the geologic origins of Mas sachusetts\, with a particular focus on the Connecticut River Valley and i ts remarkable abundance of trace fossils. Drawing on insights from the ich nology (tracks and traces) collections at Amherst College\, this experienc e brings ancient landscapes to life. Guiding the journey is \;Fred&nbs p\;Venne\, longtime science educator at the Beneski Museum o f Natural History \;at Amherst College\, whose expertise will illu minate the region&rsquo\;s dynamic geologic past.
