The Teen \;Advisory Board (TAB) is a g roup of teenage volunteers who collaborate with library staff on programs\ , services\, and resources relevant to teens. The primary goal of a Teen A dvisory Board is to give teens a voice in shaping the library's offerings\ , ensuring the library \;remains \;engaging and responsive to the needs of its younger customers. Members share ideas\, help plan teen event s\, suggest new books or media\, and make a difference in the community\, all while developing leadership and teamwork skills. \;

TAB is open to all teens in grades 7-12. Through this process\, teens will sign up as volunteers and earn volunteer hours if needed. Teens may join TAB at any time throughout the year.

Meetings will occur \;on the la st Tuesday of each month \;at both locations \;from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Teens should choose one location\, either Pickerington Main Library or Sy camore Plaza Library\, as their home base for TAB \;and attend all mee tings there. Note: The Dec. 29 meeting will be held at Pi ckerington Main Library as a combined meeting of the TAB from each locatio n. \;
