X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>Learn how to make a block print! Inspired
by the theme of "Nothing\," this workshop explores the art of subtraction
&mdash\; carving away material to reveal an image\, working between negati
ve and positive space until what remains tells the story. We'll use specia
 l printmaking tools\, including barens\, brayers\, carving tools\, and tra
nsfer paper\, to cut into linoleum blocks and produce simple but dramatic
images. Once carved\, you can repeatedly print your design to create beaut
iful handmade cards or prints. Please bring a simple design or photo to wo
rk from &mdash\; Anastasia will help you determine which design will trans
 late best into a print.</p>\n<p><strong>About the Instructor</strong></p>\
