Edgar Allen Poe\, the master of Gothic hor ror\, comes from beyond the veil to talk with audiences about his life and share his best stories and poetry\, including &ldquo\;The Masque of the R ed Death&rdquo\;\, &ldquo\;The Raven\,&rdquo\; and &ldquo\;The Tell Tale H eart.&rdquo\; Performed by professional storyteller Darrin Crow.
\nD arrin Crow is a storyteller from Cedar Rapids\, Iowa. Storytelling has bee n a part of his life for as long as he can remember\, whether it was liste ning to his aunts\, uncles\, and grandparents talking about farming and co al mining in Iowa or immersing himself in Jules Verne and Tolkien up in hi s tree house. As a high school student he began volunteering at a living h istory museum. Here he found that he could use his love of telling stories to put people in touch with their heritage in a way they had not experien ced before. In college he studied interpretive speech\, and after college he worked as an actor and itinerant storyteller in Pennsylvania and Florid a. In 1999 he returned to Cedar Rapids\, Iowa\, and has been telling stori es ever since. \;
