Join the South Brunswick Commission on Wom en on October 25 for our annual Domestic Violence Awareness Walk\, bringin g our community together to raise awareness\, support survivors\, and enco urage conversations that can make a difference. The event will feature spe akers from nonprofit organizations that work directly with individuals and families affected by domestic violence\, including Women Aware and CASA o f Middlesex County. Attendees will learn about available resources\, the i mpact of domestic violence on families and children\, and ways we can supp ort those affected. One of the most meaningful parts of the program is hea ring directly from survivors who courageously share their experiences and perspectives. Their voices help bring greater understanding to an issue th at often remains hidden.
\nFollowing the program\, we will walk toge ther as a community to show our support for survivors and raise awareness about domestic violence. We invite individuals\, families\, community orga nizations\, and neighbors of all ages to join us. Come listen\, learn\, wa lk\, and stand together for a safer and more supportive community.
