  in the program.</p>\n<p>These essays are part of the America 250 celebrat
 ion programs taking place at Pompano Beach Library.</p>\n<p>Participants m
 ust have submitted their essays on "What does America mean to you?"\, as p
 art of the Nona Roy Essay Contest taking place from July 5th through Augus
 t 8\, 2026.</p>\n<p>Participants\, please submit a copy of your essay to t
 he Pompano Beach Library's Youth Services Desk.</p>\n<p>Please ensure that
  your full name\, school's name\, grade\, parent's name\, and phone number
  are included at the top of each page.</p>\n<p>Ages 11-19 are welcome to s
 ubmit essays. Parents are welcome to attend. Registration for youth and pa
 rents is Required!</p>\n<p>Any questions on the essays can be submitted to
  the Friends: givetothefriends@gmail.com</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>The first 15 par
 ticipants will receive passes from the jellyfish Museum and all participan
 ts will receive a prize from local restaurants.</p>\n<p>Sponsored by the P
