Get a taste of 3D printing by making your own mini Jack-O'-Lantern! Come to the Studio at Main to learn about design ing 3D Models on TinkerCAD Software\, using 3D Slicer Software\, and print ing on a 3D printer. Participants will create a custom JAck-O'Lantern onli ne in TinkerCAD\, and then print it out on the Studio's 3D printer. Jack-O '-Lanterns will be translucent orange\; each one will also have a battery- operated tea light that can be inserted into the project after printing. < em>Familiarity with computers is highly recommended. Limited to 10 pa rticipants. \;
\nThis program was designed for 2nd \;grade a nd up\, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is present to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade o r younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted b y a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome guests\, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patro ns and their supervising caregivers. \; \;
