 Marshmallow Catapult! In this exciting\, hands-on program\, students will 
 discover the science and engineering behind catapults while exploring how 
 simple machines have been used throughout history. Through an engaging pre
 sentation\, participants will learn the basics of catapult design\, answer
  fun brain-teasing questions\, and uncover the STEM concepts that make the
 se machines work.</p>\n<p>Then it's time to put learning into action! Chil
 dren will build and test their own marshmallow catapults\, experimenting w
 ith design and launch techniques while developing problem-solving and engi
 neering skills.</p>\n<p>Join us on Tuesday\, July 28\, 2026\, from 11:00 a
 .m.&ndash\;Noon in the Storytelling Room. Designed for students entering g
 rades K&ndash\;5. Registration is required. Children under the age of 10 m
 ust have a guardian present for the duration of the program.</p>\n<p>About
  the Presenters:<br />STEMsters is a student-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organ
 ization dedicated to inspiring and educating children through engaging STE
