\nDeputy General Counsel Phil Rosenfelt of the U.S. Department of Education oversees legal services related to the development and implemen tation of Federal programs supporting elementary and secondary education\; career\, technical\, and adult education\; special education\; rehabilita tive services\; and post-secondary education and has held this position\, or a closely related one\, since 2006. He also helps supervise legal work on technology-related and oversight matters and is a member of the Departm ent&rsquo\;s Artificial intelligence Working Group. He earned a B.S. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1966\, a J.D. from Columbia University Law School in 1969\, and an LL.M. from New York Unive rsity School of Law in 1971. He is a member of the New York State Bar and the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court.
