Come to Music &amp\; Movement at the library!</p>\n<p>It's a cross between
a storytime and a dance party.</p>\n<p>The program is targeted to toddler
s and preschoolers. Babies are welcome at the program! But\, please know t
hat we use recorded music and it will be louder and more high energy than
our Baby Storytimes.</p>\n<p>Other than LOTS of singing and dancing\, we s
ometimes use props like scarves\, ribbons\, and shakers. We always end wit
h bubbles. And I will share a singable book somewhere in the middle!</p>\n
<p>Music and movement teach the early literacy skills of listening and fol
lowing directions\, anticipation\, and rhyming. Moving to music helps chil
 dren exhaust pent-up energy\, builds self-confidence and a positive self-i
mage.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Looking for something to do until then?&nbsp
