 tie\, the best-selling fiction writer of all time. This lecture will focus
  on the true crimes that inspired some of Christie&rsquo\;s books\, and al
 so touch on her writing career\, popularity\, and influence on crime novel
 s and pop culture throughout the years.</p>\n<p>Dr. Kayser is an associate
  professor and Medical Humanities program director in the English departme
 nt at the University of Arkansas. She has taught classes on Agatha Christi
 e novels and crime fiction.</p>\n<p>Our last event will be September 3rd--
