 our understanding of the structure of our Universe\, and studying it has a
 lso helped astronomers identify the existence of still-mysterious dark mat
 ter. We'll explore this beautiful object through amazing photos and walk t
 hrough the last hundred years of discoveries connected to our nearest gala
 ctic neighbor. You'll also&nbsp\;learn where and&nbsp\;when&nbsp\;you can 
 see&nbsp\;the Andromeda Galaxy&nbsp\;with just your eyes&nbsp\;&ndash\; no
  telescope&nbsp\;required!&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Michelle Nichols-Yehling is Dire
 ctor of Public Observing at the&nbsp\;Adler Planetarium&nbsp\;in Chicago\,
  IL\, and has worked at the Adler since June 1995. She holds a Bachelor of
  Science degree in Physics and Astronomy from the&nbsp\;University of Illi
 nois at Urbana-Champaign&nbsp\;and a Master of Education degree in Curricu
 lum and Instruction from&nbsp\;National-Louis University.&nbsp\;Ms. Nichol
 s leads the Adler Planetarium's telescope\, observatory\, and public sky-o
 bserving initiatives and events. Before landing at the Adler Planetarium\,
  Michelle worked at U.S. Space Camp (Titusville\, FL)\, the Astronaut Memo
 rial Planetarium (Cocoa\, FL)\, and the Staerkel Planetarium (Champaign\, 
 IL). Since 1999\, Michelle has been a popular local speaker\, giving hundr
 eds of presentations to more than 130 public libraries\, community organiz
 ations\, and senior living facilities in the Chicago suburbs\, Indiana\, a
 nd Alabama.</p>\n<p>Ms. Nichols-Yehling's programs are geared toward adult
 s\, though her general recommendation is that programs would be appropriat
 e for children ages 10 and up.</p>\n<p>Photography Policy: By attending on
