This program combines visuals and hands-on experience to cover medicinal\, culinary\, and spiritual uses of herbs an d plants\; growing habits and sustainable harvesting\; and Anishinaabe\, H o-Chunk\, and other tribal traditions. Marcy Lautanen-Raleigh started Backyard Patch Herbs to make herbs easy to use and easy to love. What began as a simple kitchen garden grew into a ¾\;-acre herb-filled h aven where Marcy grows\, dries\, and hand-blends every product herself. He r mission is to help people cook with more flavor\, sip better tea\, and e mbrace a more natural lifestyle&mdash\;without salt\, preservatives\, or m ystery ingredients.
