  the aftermath of his parents' death. While grieving his parents\, Siwei t
 akes an old family cookbook to a local Chinese class to assist with transl

 eakers:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Zulian Tjuatja</strong></p>\n<p>Born and 
 raised in Texas to Chinese Indonesian parents\, Zulian&rsquo\;s worldview 
 has been informed by the intersections of his diverse life experiences. As
  an adult\, in addition to his native US\, he has lived across South Ameri
 ca\, Europe\, and East Asia. Burnout from a finance career and a failed at
 tempt at becoming a novelist brought him to film. His all-time favorite fi
 lmmakers include Edward Yang\, Akira Kurosawa\, Federico Fellini\, Andrei 
 Tarkovsky\, and Robert Bresson.</p>\n<p>With more to come!</p>\n<hr />\n<p
