Alexandria Library and Youth Leaders have come together over the last six months to discuss what it means to be a te en in Alexandria and how to effect change for this diverse and important a ge group. Community members and leaders are invited to experience these te ens' views first-hand with a multimedia presentation\, refreshments\, and an opportunity to contribute their own opinions to this teen dialogue proj ect.

What is The CHAT?
The CHAT: Change Happens with Alexandria Teens is a conversation series that ran April - June 2026. The CHAT was created in the Teen Dialogue Accelerator Grant Program\, made possible by \;Cortico\, in partnership with \;MIT Center for Constructive Communication&nb sp\;and \;PBS Frontline< /a>. The Teen Dialogue Accelerator program is made up of 10 public librari es from across the country that are working to amplify teen voices by expl oring emerging technologies and identifying crucial connections in their c ommunity conversations.
