In 1950s Havana\, a group of young musicia ns created a sound that shook the world of Cuban music&mdash\;until the re volution changed everything. Forty years later\, the band got back togethe r to record the songs they left behind and unexpectedly created the greate st-selling world music album of all time. The program features pre-Revolut ion life in 1950s Cuba\, the Son cubano musical artists featured in the 19 99 documentary movie\, and the Tony and Grammy award winning 2025 Buena Vi sta Social Club Broadway musical.
