Participants will experim ent with stencils created by \;artist Micah Kraus using a variety of m ark-making techniques\, exploring the possibilities of texture\, repetitio n\, and layered imagery. This playful and exploratory experience highlight s the importance of observation and reaction as ideas develop\, offering p articipants a chance to see how artistic process and visual expression con nect.

Micah Kraus is an artist and educator based in Akron\, Ohio. He holds a bachelor&rsquo\;s degree in art education and a master&rsquo\; s in printmaking from Kent State University. He operates Work Studio LTD\, an art and design studio specializing in printmaking-based techniques for fine art and client projects. His work has been featured in solo and grou p exhibitions regionally and nationally\, and he has collaborated on publi c art projects with organizations such as East Akron Community House\, Loc k 3 Summer Arts Experience\, Door 2\, Summit Artspace\, Downtown Akron Par tnership\, and the Akron Art Museum.

\n

Kraus taught art at Archbisho p Hoban High School from 2001 to 2023\, where he specialized in printmakin g\, photography\, and art career education. As department chair for 15 yea rs\, he oversaw the renovation of the school&rsquo\;s visual arts facility .
