DESCRIPTION:Come dust of your poems\, listen and talk about the poetry of
 others\, or find out about the interesting lives of famous poets living an
 d dead..\nhttps://acld.libnet.info/event/17062431
X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>Back in the day\, poets were like rock sta
 rs.&nbsp\; Today\, rock stars are sometimes poets.&nbsp\; There is a blurr
 ed line between what poetry is and what it isn't.&nbsp\; In a sense\, ever
 ything written contains poetic potential.&nbsp\; Sometimes creativity can
 be unlocked by having an audience. Come bring in your poetry or prose poet
 ry\, roughly 3 pages or less double spaced\, and we will read it.&nbsp\;&n
 bsp\;</p>\n<p>The other element of this group is a small weekly presentati
 on and reading of famous poets of the past and present.&nbsp\; So far\, we
  have discussed and read figures ranging from Charles Bukowski to Charles
 Baudelaire.&nbsp\; From Emily Dickinson to Emile Zola.&nbsp\; We'll\, we d
 idn&rsquo\;t read Emile Zola\, but the name goes along with Emily.&nbsp\;
 And that's called poetic license.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\nhttps://acld.libnet.i
