X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p><strong>"Quit your kidding and get back to
your job. You're a lot more use to King and Country right where you are.
Any driller who goes soldiering ought to be shot at sunrise."</strong></p>
\n<p>While it may be tempting to think of the drillers who chose to not en
list as cowards\, the quotation underlines just how critical the Internati
onal Drillers were to the war effort. Supplying the military efforts was a
key aspect of Allied strategic success which required many able-bodied me
n and women into the oil fields and refineries. Without the industrial sup
port of Canadian factories and plants\, the soldiers would not have the to
ols\, munitions\, or fuel to win the war. In this presentation we look at
the important contributions of Sarnia-Lambton veterans and industries such
as Imperial Oil\, Polymer\, and Operation Shuttle to the success of World
War 1 and 2.</p>\n<p>Register to save your spot!&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Image:&nb
