Families with children ages 1&ndash\;3 who have developmental concerns or who are receiving Early Intervention servi ces are invited to join us for this welcoming\, drop-in playgroup. Open to all families\, regardless of library cardholder status or place of reside nce.
\nChildren will explore hands-on activities designed to encoura ge motor development\, language growth\, social interaction\, and learning through play in a supportive\, inclusive environment.
\nWhile child ren play\, caregivers can connect with a representative from AOK (All Our Kids) Kane County to learn about developmental milestones and receive assi stance completing a free ASQ Online developmental screening. The Ages & \; Stages Questionnaires (ASQ) help families better understand their child 's development and can identify areas where additional support may be bene ficial.
\nThrough AOK Kane County's coordinated screening and referr al system\, families can more easily access developmental resources and se rvices while community partners work together to provide timely support fo r young children.
