In the late 1800s\, two paleontologists na med Cope and Marsh were friends and colleagues\, until ambition and an end less search of dinosaur fossils turned them into sworn enemies. Their riva lry\, called the Bone Wars\, gave us incredible dinosaur discoveries\, but it also created a competitive culture that made a mess of paleontology an d erased a lot of people's contributions along the way. In this talk\, we' ll dig into how this famous feud happened\, what it teaches us about scien ce and ambition\, and whose stories didn't make it into the history books.
