Peggy Dobreer is a five-time Pushcart nominated p
oet\, former dancer\, and life-long teaching artist\, whose poetry won the
2017 Poetry Matters Prize in association with the City of Downey and NASA
. Her poems are widely published and she has two collections with Moon Tid
e Press and a chapbook with Glass Lyre in Chicago.
She is the Founder
and Artistic Director of Slow Lightning Lit\, an online circle of Somatic
practitioners who have met daily online since 2021 and has emerged as one
of L.A.s many independent micro-publishers serving "uncommon work by unco
