 E. Mu&ntilde\;oz for an engaging look at how technology and physical activ
 ity can work together to support healthy aging. Drawing on research from W
 ilfrid Laurier University's BioAdaptive Interface Lab\, this presentation 
 will explore how immersive technologies such as virtual reality can be use
 d to encourage movement\, stimulate the mind\, and promote cognitive wellb
 eing.</p>\n<p>Participants will learn about exergaming - games that combin
 e exercise with interactive technology - and how this emerging field is be
 ing studied as a way to support brain health and help slow cognitive decli
 ne associated with conditions such as Alzheimer's disease.</p>\n<p>Whether
  you're interested in healthy aging\, virtual reality\, or the future of h
 ealthcare technology\, this program offers an accessible introduction to t
 his fascinating area of research.</p>\n<p><strong>To learn more about the

 sity</a>.</p>\n<h4>About Dr. Mu&ntilde\;oz&rsquo\;s</h4>\n<p>Dr. Mu&ntilde
 \;oz completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Waterloo\,
  Canada in 2022 after receiving his PhD in Human Computer Interaction from
  the Universidade da Madeira in Portugal in 2018. His PhD internship was c
 onducted at NASA Langley in the USA. Mu&ntilde\;oz has a physics engineeri
 ng background with a ME in Bioengineering from the Universidad Tecnol&oacu
 te\;gica de Pereira in Colombia. He is currently an Assistant Professor of
  User Experience Design at Wilfrid Laurier University in Brantford\, Ontar
 io\, and is the Director of the BioAdaptive Interface Lab.</p>\n<hr />\n<p
