Choose the date that works best for you&md ash\;September 28 or October 19&mdash\;and join us to paint a vibrant octo pus. In this fun program\, we'll guide you step-by-step in painting an&nbs p\;octopus in blush and coral shades with arms swaying among a patch of fl owing seaweed. To give participants plenty of time to create their remarka bly bright octopus\, the blues of the ocean will be pre-painted on all can vases.

Beginners are most welcome&mdash\;no experience is necessar y. We'll be using permanent\, acrylic paints\, so please wear clothes that can get stained\, just in case.

Registration begins S eptember 21 for September 28's program. Participants must be in grades 3&n dash\;5. To ensure successful signup\, each child needs to be registered s eparately\, using the child's first and last name on the registration form . A library card number is not required.

Although so me participants may paint for the entire length of the program\, we ask ca regivers to be available in the Kids Area before the program's end time fo r those who finish early. All children in grade 5 and below must have a ca regiver on library premises during the program.
