Choose the date that works best for you&md ash\;September 28 or October 19&mdash\;and join us to paint a vibrant octo pus. In this fun program\, we'll guide you step-by-step in painting an&nbs p\;octopus in blush and coral shades with arms swaying among a patch of fl owing seaweed. To give participants plenty of time to create their remarka bly bright octopus\, the blues of the ocean will be pre-painted on all can vases.
\nBeginners are most welcome&mdash\;no experience is necessar y. We'll be using permanent\, acrylic paints\, so please wear clothes that can get stained\, just in case.
\nRegistration begins O ctober 12 for October 19's program. Participants must be in grades 3&ndash \;5. To ensure successful signup\, each child needs to be registered separ ately\, using the child's first and last name on the registration form. A library card number is not required.
\nAlthough some p articipants may paint for the entire length of the program\, we ask caregi vers to be available in the Kids Area before the program's end time for th ose who finish early. All children in grade 5 and below must have a caregi ver on library premises during the program.
