Join us for a hands-on volunteer event int roducing participants to the Library of Congress's "By the People" crowdso urced transcription program. Working together\, we'll help make historical documents more searchable and accessible by transcribing handwritten and typed materials from the LOC's "American Revolution In Context" campaign. Engage directly with letters\, diaries\, and other primary sources from th e Revolutionary Era while contributing to a national effort to improve acc ess to these important historical records. This work can then be continued at home on your own time!

No prior experience necessary. Training and guidance will be provided. Adults and teens welcome. Space is limited to 12 computer stations. You may bring a partner to work as a pair at one station.
