 p>\n<p>We have a&nbsp\;<strong><em>limited</em></strong> number of availab
 le time slots. Readers can sign up for a time slot at the Information Desk
 . Each reader will have <strong>ten minutes</strong> to read one-on-one wi
 th our certified therapy dog!</p>\n<p>This program is specifically targete
 d to children&nbsp\;<em><strong>5-12 years old</strong></em>&nbsp\;who hav
 e some ability to read aloud on their own.</p>\n<p>This is an independent 
 reading program. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to let their child 
 read independently with the dog and&nbsp\;can observe their reader from a 
 nearby table during the reading session.</p>\n<p>Library Program Attendanc
 e (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the s
 uggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program unde
 r the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program
  intended for children must have an accompanying child.</p>\n<p><strong>Qu
