Join the Connie Morella Library's& nbsp\;Teen Advisory Board (TAB) \;to help shape teen programs \, volunteer projects\, and library spaces. TAB members share ideas with l ibrary staff\, give feedback\, plan upcoming activities\, and work with ot her teens on projects that support the library and community.
\nThe first section features a presentation\, skill-building activity\, or discu ssion on a topic relevant to teens. The second section is for teen reflect ion\, planning\, and project work. TAB members identify library and commun ity needs\, help prepare service projects\, take action through teen-led o r teen-supported activities\, and reflect on what they learned and who ben efited.
\nNew members are welcome. You do not need prior volunteer o r leadership experience. Teens can earn four Student Service-Learning (SSL ) hours for attending the full meeting and participating. Snacks are provi ded (while supplies last).

How to Join
\nPlease complete the \;Teen Adv isory Board Interest Form \;before attending so staff can confirm eligibility and contact information. If you use the \;Register \;button for this meeting\, please also complete the interes t form.
\nApplicants must be 13 at the time of application and may p articipate through age 17\, or age 18 if still in high school.

\nLibrary Prog ram Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attend ing a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
