 \n<p>Topics for Fall Quarter of Comic Club:</p>\n<p>9/27/26: Journal comic
 s: We&rsquo\;ll do a quick journal exercise from the cartoonist Lynda Berr
 y to make a minicomic\, then look at some examples of autobio/slice of lif
 e graphic novels to plot out a longer autobiographical story.</p>\n<p>10/2
 5/26: Manga techniques: We&rsquo\;ll take a look at panel\, page\, and cha
 racter design in various popular manga\, and practice applying screentones
  for depth and theatrical effects.</p>\n<p>11/29/26: Cut-Ups (Collage comi
 cs and zines): Taking inspiration from Italian &ldquo\;fumetti&rdquo\; pho
 to comics\, as well as zine artists\, we&rsquo\;ll be making minicomics ba
