White Oak Library's Book Crew is just righ t for beginner readers in grades K-1. Each month we will read a book toget her\, talk about it and do a fun activity inspired by the book. Copies wil l be available for checkout at the meeting. Book Crew does not teach readi ng\, rather \;it is meant to introduce kids to some awesome books\, ge t them excited about books and reading\, and help them develop social skil ls through interaction with their peers. \;
\nThis is an independent learning experience. Parents and caregivers will not be prese nt in the program room but must remain in the library building during the program. Please meet your child \; downstairs outside the meeting room at 5:45 PM.
\nLibrary Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for child ren must have an accompanying child.
