White Oak Library's Book Crew is just righ t for beginner readers in grades K-1. Each month we will read a book toget her\, talk about it and do a fun activity inspired by the book. Copies wil l be available for checkout at the meeting. Book Crew does not teach readi ng\, rather \;it is meant to introduce kids to some awesome books\, ge t them excited about books and reading\, and help them develop social skil ls through interaction with their peers. \;
\nThis is an indepen dent learning experience. Parents and caregivers will not be present in th e program room but must remain in the library building during the program. Please meet your child \; downstairs outside the meeting room at 5:45.
\nLibrary Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
