Help foster a culture of reading for pleas ure! The challenge is simple: show up\, check in at the TEENS desk\, and s ilently read in public in the Teens area of the library. Bring your own bo oks or bring a library card to borrow some of ours. You can even bring you r own cozy reading supplies\, if you like. Come alone or bring a friend or two. The only rule is: read silently! \;

Teen Volunteer Corps members will earn up to 2 hours of community service for participating. I f you haven&rsquo\;t joined the TVC yet\, applications are available online and are accepted year-round from students in grades 6-12. You can even fill one o ut at this event!
