  album\, "The Song of Flower: Native American Songs from Ojibwe Country\,"
  with Bear&nbsp\;Tracks Digital Media\, an American Indian&nbsp\;owned pro
 duction label. "The Song of Flower" was highly supported by well-known pol
 itical prisoner and activist&nbsp\;Leonard Peltier and Darren was&nbsp\;in
 vited to share his music all over the United States promoting&nbsp\;for Pe
 ltier's freedom.</p>\n<p>In 2015\, Darren released his second album "Betwe
 en Earth and Sky: Native American Flute Music Recorded in the Black Hills\
 ," with Drumhop Productions\, an American Indian production label well-kno
 wn in Indian Country that produces the annual Gathering of Nations Powwow 
 CD and many others from throughout Turtle Island. Between Earth and Sky&nb
 sp\;has received acclaim from media and professionals supporting the album
 's intent - to preserve history. Darren was awarded an artist-in-residence
  opportunity with the world's largest monument\, the Crazy Horse National 
 Memorial in the Black Hills of South Dakota. His album was recognized as A
 lbum of the Month by Wisconsin Public Radio in 2016.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>His co
 mmentary on American Indian issues as well as reviews of his music have be
 en included in the&nbsp\;New York Times\, the&nbsp\;Washington Post\, the&
 nbsp\;Chicago Tribune\,&nbsp\;National Public Radio\,&nbsp\;&nbsp\;ProPubl
 ica\, the&nbsp\;Associated Press\,&nbsp\;and numerous media throughout the
