This location is excellent for beginning birders\; it 's a gentle walk\, and there are always tons of birds to see (even without binoculars). \;
\nThe \;trailhead \;is at the west end of Boat Harbor Drive. \;There are about 15 shoulder parking stalls on the road leading to the trail. Another parking option is a small parking l ot or shoulder parking on North Boat Harbor Drive (the road you turn on ri ght before you get to \;Utah \;Lake \;State Park)\, and then i t's just a short walk north and west to the meeting place. \;
