 /strong></p>\n<p>In this fun\, beginner-friendly workshop\, artists will p
 aint a sweet\, modern still life inspired by the work of Wayne Thiebaud&md
 ash\;famous for his vibrant cakes\, pies\, and candy paintings. Using acry
 lic paint and impasto techniques\, participants will build rich texture an
 d bold color to create their own "frosted" masterpiece.&nbsp\;<br />Artist
 s will explore palette knife painting (just like spreading icing!) along w
 ith playful color mixing and composition\, while creating a dessert-themed
  artwork that looks almost good enough to eat.&nbsp\;<br /><br />Each part
 icipant will leave with a delicious-looking painting&mdash\;and enjoy a sw
 eet treat during the workshop for a little extra inspiration!&nbsp\;</p>\n
 <p></p>\n<p><strong>About the Instructor:</strong></p>\n<p>Anastasia Zieli
 nski is a multidisciplinary artist\, arts educator\, and owner of <a href=
 "https://freaknart.com/">FREAK&rsquo\;N ART</a>\, a community studio in Be
 nd\, Oregon. Her work spans painting\, fiber-based collage\, and installat
 ion\, exploring materiality and place. She earned her BFA from Pratt Insti
 tute and has&nbsp\;exhibited&nbsp\;nationally and internationally\, includ
 ing site-specific installations for INSCAPE Arts\, Shunpike&rsquo\;s Store
 front Seattle\,&nbsp\;Spaceworks&nbsp\;Tacoma\, and CLAVO. She has&nbsp\;p
 articipated&nbsp\;in residencies with Casa&nbsp\;L&uuml\;\,&nbsp\;eeeee\, 
 and New Pacific Studio\, and received the 2023 Jerry Goldstein Foundation 
 Award. In 2026\, she curated Nourish\, a benefit auction for Family Kitche
 n in Bend\, Oregon\, and presented the solo exhibition Discovering Home at
  Cindy and Duncan Campbell Gallery in Sisters\, Oregon. She lives and work
