 with <a href="https://www.wordsworthbooks.com/" target="_blank" rel="noope
 ner">Words Worth Books.</a></p>\n<p>This is a drop-in event for families w
 ith children of all ages.</p>\n<p>Early Learning Programs for young childr
 en at WPL are based on literacy research and include tips and information 
 for parents and caregivers. Your active participation in these programs wi
 ll maximize the experience for you and your child.</p>\n<h4>About the Auth
 or</h4>\n<p>Jess Hannigan is the author and illustrator of picture books\,
  including <em>Spider in the Well</em> and <em>The Bear Out There</em>. Sh
 e also works in editorial art\, amongst other things\, and considers herse
 lf an all-purpose illustrator. Some say she has the heart of a designer an
 d the sensibility of a professional clown. She lives in Hamilton\, Ontario
 .</p>\n<h4>About <em>The Cow in the Dark at Night</em></h4>\n<p>A curious 
 cow sets herself loose upon the sleeping world\, ready to explore all the 
 nighttime has to offer. Covertly joined by a protective and dubious barn c
 at\, our cow cheerfully (and cluelessly) encounters a cast of somewhat uns
 avory nocturnal characters during her travels. She must return to the barn
  before dawn\, but\, due to an intergalactic turn of events\, she and her 
 fuzzy companion are soon faced with a much bigger\, unexpected adventure.<
