 rong>: Discover Digital Maps&mdash\;Learn how GPS works\, use Google Earth
  to "travel" to famous landmarks in Spanish-speaking countries\, and compl
 ete a digital mapping activity.</p>\n<p>9/16 <strong>Engineering</strong>:
  Engineering Ancient Wonders&mdash\;Explore the engineering of the Maya\, 
 Aztec\, and Inca civilizations. Kids will then be challenged to build a py
 ramid or suspension bridge using recycled materials\, popsicle sticks\, or
  LEGO.</p>\n<p>9/23 <strong>Art</strong>: Celebrate Color &amp\; Culture -
  Learn about Hispanic artists and traditional art forms. (EX: Alebrijes\, 
 papel picado\, Talavera tile designs\, molas\, Frida Kahlo\, or Carmen Lom
 as Garza.) Kids will then create their own colorful masterpiece inspired b
 y these works.</p>\n<p>9/30 <strong>Math</strong>: Patterns Around the Wor
 ld&mdash\;Explore Mayan numerals and symmetry in Talavera tiles and tessel
 lations\, and create geometric patterns inspired by Latin American textile
