 e Wilkerson.<em> Good Dirt</em> by Charmaine Wilkerson spans generations a
 nd continents in a rich narrative about legacy and healing. It centers on 
 Ebby Freeman\, whose childhood was shattered when masked intruders killed 
 her brother and broke her family&rsquo\;s heirloom&mdash\;a stoneware jar 
 crafted by an enslaved ancestor. As an adult\, after her fianc&eacute\; ab
 andons her on her wedding day\, she flees to rural France. There\, amidst 
 flashbacks to her family's past and the storied jar "Old Mo\," Ebby confro
 nts trauma\, uncovers ancestral stories\, and begins to piece together for
 giveness\, identity\, and resilience. <strong>This event will take place i
