 ng's urban farm\, Koiner Farm!</strong></p>\n<p><strong>This SSL opportuni
 ty will take place in McGee Library's 3rd Floor Meeting Room.&nbsp\;</stro
 ng>Learn about the Charles Koiner Conservancy for Urban Farming and Koiner
  Farm's incredible history and current role empowering\, feeding and teach
 ing our vibrant community.</p>\n<p>For SSL\, help the library with setup\,
  design future teen library programs\, help with cleanup/takedown\, and ha
 rvest seeds from dried flower heads and decorate seed envelopes with info 
 about the seeds and what the plants look like! Your beautiful envelopes of
  seeds will go to the Little Free Seed Library for the public to use and p
 lant.</p>\n<p>This event is presented by the <a href="https://www.ckcfarmi
 ng.org">Charles Koiner Conservancy for Urban Farming</a> (CKC) and&nbsp\;<
 a href="https://www.ckcfarming.org/koiner-farm-1">Koiner Farm</a>\, the fi
 rst urban farm in Maryland to be permanently preserved under a conservatio
 n easement and the flagship farm of CKC. The easement permits the continue
 d agricultural use of the property and protects access for the public. CKC
  hosts educational programs for local schools and community groups\, while
  maintaining the farm with help from interns and volunteers. CKC is a nonp
 rofit land trust that protects and manages urban farms in Montgomery Count
 y\, Maryland to help people connect with their land\, their food and their
  neighbors.</p>\n<p><strong>This program is most appropriate for ages 11-1
 9. Library Program Attendance is limited to participants within the sugges

 fit organization\, is offering a free\, confidential legal name change cli
 nic with guidance\, resources\, and support for Maryland residents of all 
 ages! The clinic date is Saturday\, August 29\, 2026\, 2 PM - 4 PM at Brig
 adier General Charles E. McGee Library.</a></strong> The program will take
  place in the 3rd Floor Meeting Room.&nbsp\;Walk-ins are welcome\, registr
 ation is encouraged! Earn SSL from the library by assisting at the event\,
  including preparing &amp\; designing future library programs and cleanup/
