 ch aims to make our community "dementia&nbsp\;friendly"\, meaning all memb
 ers of society are welcoming and understanding of what&nbsp\;dementia&nbsp
 \;is\, what it looks like\, and how to interact and keep those with&nbsp\;
 dementia&nbsp\;continued valued members of society.&nbsp\; The presentatio
 n is provided by volunteers from the Aging and Disability Services\, Area 
 Agency on Aging\, Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Service
 s.</p>\n<p>Objectives of this presentation:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Learn about Alz
 heimer&rsquo\;s and other types of dementia.</li>\n<li>Recognize the signs
  of dementia.</li>\n<li>Discover tips for communicating and interacting wi
 th a person who has dementia.</li>\n<li>Establish tips for creating a deme
