Join us for a two-part Indigenous beading workshop with Jenn Creeley of CreeHearts Design on September 26 &\; 27. Attendees will learn how to make a Beaded Daisy necklace with Jenn's guid ance. This free program is open to adults 18+ and registration is encourag ed. Walk-ins will be welcome if space/supplies permit. Registrants should plan to attend for both days.
\nJenn has honed her beading craft for several years \, having learned the skill from her grandmother at Piapot First Nation. S he has since passed this tradition to her daughter\, granddaughter\, and g randson\, and has regularly taught beading fundamentals within the communi ty. Jenn's beadwork has reached international destinations including Austr alia\, Japan\, and Ireland. CreeHearts Design provides an array of authent ic First Nation jewelry and accessories. Currently\, there is significant interest in her orange shirt pins\, each featuring a distinctive gold bead placed where the heart lies\, symbolizing that every child possesses a he art of gold. The beaded keychains\, lanyards\, and earrings remain among t he most requested items. Orders for beadwork may be submitted via Instagra m or email.
