  goal of the family caregiver workshops is to introduce family caregivers 
 to basic&nbsp\;caregiving skills needed to provide quality care for an agi
 ng family member. Family Caregiver Workshops can be taught at churches and
  other locations for groups of 10 or more. The training combines content f
 rom several sources including standards and guidelines from the Agency for
  Healthcare Research and Quality\, the Centers for Disease Control and Pre
 vention (CDC)\, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.&nbs
 p\;<br />&nbsp\;<br />This workshop covers topics including:&nbsp\;&nbsp\;
 </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overview of Dementia and Alzheimer&rsquo\;s disease&nbsp\;
 </li>\n<li>Communication techniques&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>Understanding behavio
 rs&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>Activities&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>Nutrition and hydration&nb
 sp\;</li>\n<li>Caregiver stress&nbsp\;</li>\n<li>Maintaining respect\, dig
