  illness and healing\, both physical and psychological. We will&nbsp\;also
  discuss related film selections at some sessions to view before we meet.<
 /p>\n<p>The reading for this date is&nbsp\;&ldquo\;Interpreter of Maladies
 &rdquo\; by Jhumpa Lahiri (1999 &ndash\; p.147).&nbsp\;&nbsp\;An interpret
 er in a doctor&rsquo\;s office and tour guide becomes a confidant to the t
 roubled&nbsp\;wife/mother of a family touring with him -- when she reveals
  dark family secrets.&nbsp\;Title story from Pulitzer Prize-winning short-
 story collection.</p>\n<p>Copies of the series anthology are available to
