 ces are a place for inventors\, artists\, and hobbyists to bring their ide
 as to life. Located within the Donaldsonville and St. Amant branches\, we 
 encourage community members to check out these new hands-on workspaces and
  collaborate\, create\, explore\, and build.</p>\n<p>To use equipment in t
 he Makerspace\, you must be an Ascension Parish Library cardholder* and ta
 ke a training class to learn how to safely operate the machines and the pr
 ocedures for checking in\, out\, and cleaning up. After taking the class\,
  you will schedule a time to pass a task-based activity to earn a completi
 on badge\, which will then allow you to use the equipment on your own.&nbs
 p\;</p>\n<p>Available Makerspace equipment at St. Amant includes:</p>\n<p>
 &middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; <strong>
 Brother HC 1850 sewing - includes several needle and stitch options for ma
 ny kinds of sewing projects.</strong></p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp
 \;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Bambu P2S 3D printer - creates physi
 cal objects from digital designs by building layers of material that can m
 ake toys\, musical instruments\, tools\, and more.</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\
 ;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Brother Scan-N-Cut - ca
 pable of cutting\, scoring\, and drawing or writing on various materials. 
 It can be used with the Cricut Heat Press to create customized items like 
 t-shirts.</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp
 \;&nbsp\; Recording Studio - record podcasts or music. The studio has micr
 ophones\, mixers\, an electric guitar\, a bass guitar\, a drum set\, a key
 board\, a green screen\, some lighting\, and two high-quality cameras.</p>
 \n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Com
 Marker Omni X &ndash\; a 12-watt UV laser marker that uses a beam of light
  to cut\, engrave\, and shape designs into wood\, acrylic\, glass\, fabric
 \, metals\, and more!</p>\n<p>&middot\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;
 &nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Carvera CNC &ndash\; Use our computerized numeric co
 ntrol (CNC) to mill digital files into materials like wood\, aluminum\, co
