Profe ssor J is an award-winning journalist and veteran journalism professor who has taught at his alma mater\, the University of Wisconsin -- Milwaukee\, and the University of Maryland at College Park. To promote the study of s neakers in America's public schools\, Jamaal founded Sneaker Theory in 2024 after enrolling in the "Sne aker Essentials" course at the Fashion Institute of Technology. He is an a ctive investigative journalist\, an avid chess player and a lifelong fan o f the Milwaukee Bucks. He resides in Washington\, D.C.

Calvin Robins\, Jr.\, \;from Chicago\, Illinois\, wears the #21 jersey as a Forward for the Men's Basketball team at Howard Universit y. He's a junior majoring in Finance. Calvin is a MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athlet ic Conference) Regular Season &\; Tournament Champion and was selected to the MEAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team. Calvin played a season high 15 minutes in the win over Alcorn State last November and had nine points (season high) and seven boards (season best) in the winning game against B owie State last December. \;
