\n< p>Jeanette Gil is an award-winning children&rsquo\;s author\, educator\, a nd doctoral candidate in Applied Learning Sciences at the University of Mi ami. Affectionately known as &ldquo\;Gigi\,&rdquo\; she creates stories an d learning experiences that encourage children to discover their unique gi fts\, build confidence\, and feel seen\, heard\, and valued.

Her a ward-winning picture book\, Aloe Vera&rsquo\;s Special Gift\, is a heartwa rming story of growth\, identity\, and discovering that what makes us diff erent may become our greatest gift. The book is now available in both Engl ish and Spanish. Jeanette is also the founder of Zun Zun Press and creator of the GIGI \;Method&trade\;.
