 >\n<p>This class simulates an actual dojo class. It will begin with a stud
 ent pledge\, setting the mindset for students to practice patience\, mindf
 ulness\, and to persevere in all pursuits. We will work on balance and wei
 ght distribution to keep steady as we learn how to block\, punch\, kick. S
 tudents in this class will be offered the option to stay seated while they
  train and learn self-defense techniques.</p>\n<p>No prior martial arts ex
 perience is needed. Comfortable clothing and readiness to move are encoura
 ged!</p>\n<p>About the Presenter:<br />Sensei Wendy Cohen\, founder of Mid
 south Okinawan Karate\, brings over 35 years of experience in Okinawan Kar
 ate. She is a 5th Degree Blackbelt and Certified Senior Instructor in the 
 Seibukai System of Goju Ryu Karate\, as well as a 3rd Degree Blackbelt in 
 the Ryukonkai Weapons System. Sensei Wendy specializes in practical self-d
 efense\, helping students discover their inner strength while learning in 
 a welcoming\, supportive environment.</p>\n<p>Please register beginning at
  10 a.m. on Saturday\, October 10\, two weeks before the program.</p>\n<p>
