Friday\, September 11\, 2026 marks the 25t h Anniversary of the terrorist attacks in New York city\, Washington D.C.\ , and rural Pennsylvania. To mark this anniversary Westlake Porter Public library is asking patrons to visit the Soundbooth on September 11\, locate d in the Makerspace\, to record a two to three minute memory of that day. We will have some prompts available to help get you started or you can tal k about what you would like. Local History librarian Chad Statler will be available to help you make the recording. Recordings will be assembled and featured into a blog post which will be published later. The Makerspace i s open on Fridays between 10 AM and 5 PM.
