Are you looking to get into the holiday sp irit and give back to your community? Join local volunteers for a card-mak ing craft extravaganza! We will be making cards for seniors in our communi ty who need extra care and support over the holidays. Participation in thi s event also counts as volunteer hours through CVC and certificates will b e provided. Any and all holiday greetings are encouraged and the cards wil l be going to our annual holiday hellos program\, so come make some cards to make a senior's day! \;
\nThis all-ages\, sensory-friendly ev ent is designed to help everyone feel included. This is a non instructiona l craft with lower lights and no music for sensory sensitivities\, but the room will be noisy from attendants. We encourage families or friend group s with individuals who have an intellectual disability to participate.&nbs p\;
\nDrop in craft\, no registration required\, but a limited numbe r of cards can be made so first come first serve. All supplies provided. A ges 6+ only. \;
\nCheck in is required upon arrival\; a name wil l need to be given at check in if you would like a volunteer certificate.
