 isa Boughner and her exhibit&nbsp\;<em>Sentiment of Joy</em>. In her words
 \, Boughner's vibrant paintings and 3-dimensional works seek "to inspire t
 hose who see my work to look more carefully at the world around them\, to 
 discover beauty in the imperfect and design in everything we see."&nbsp\;<
 /p>\n<p>Boughner was born in the United States\, raised in Mexico and stud
 ied art in America and Europe. She fell in love with color and patterns wh
 ile growing up in Mexico City\, where her father had been transferred when
  she was young. Growing up surrounded by the bright\, colorful life of the
  Mexican culture\, the way the houses were painted\, the bright clothing a
 nd the wonderful handmade rugs and textiles\, had a tremendous impact on h
 er.</p>\n<p>This reception is free and open to the public. Light refreshme
 nts will be served.</p>\n<p>Photography Policy: By attending Library progr
